Last month I was excited to see a mother and her two kittens – one tabby and one ginger – on the roof outside my window. I watched as the kittens got fatter and played with each other. I hoped they hadn’t fallen down an air-conditioning pipe but feared for the worse when one disappeared and then the other never to be seen again.
Today I opened my blind to find three new kittens had appeared – all ginger this time – but no sign of the mother (hopefully she is busy catching rats!). I stayed for a while watching these kittens running and jumping and play-fighting with each other.
I wondered what would happen to them and how our little community can support so many cats. In my alley there are 10 cats already and there are four more alleys. The old people who live around me feed them and care for them but only a few of them have owners. A beautiful white one lives in my house and her owner told me that she a great ‘ratter – said she had caught 24 rats so far.
I guess I would rather have cats than rats!
The three cats are cute and lonely ,they have a close relationship with people,in my hometown,cats are afraid to meet people,it makes me sad
but U really have one pet rat ,maybe more ,who knows . in my opinion ,most of animals is cute when they are young. i hope i can see three kittens one day .i wish that they will like me although i prefer my dog than any animal

It is really fotunate to see this scene,I remembered that I have seen a similar scene 4 years ago,and it was the last time I saw a mother and its kittens.perhaps I am kind of careless to the animals in my daily life,I think it's the time to act.By the way ,the kittens in the picture are quite lovelyO_o
so cute! I had cats five years ago ,but my mother sent them to our relatives finally….
