The year of the rabbit is 9 hours away and the streets are deserted – shops closed, 
restaurants closed, no taxis, only a few cars, buses empty, quite is all over the city. This is the quietest I have ever heard a city – very pleasant!
But we all know that as soon as the sun goes down there will be a God Almighty noise as thousands of fireworks will be let off across the city from parks, pavements, roads, garden, balcony, roofs. It’s like the calm before the storm and soon the two weeks of celebrations will start as will sleepless nights and dodging explosions whenever I leave the house.
