I went to the Post Office in Edinburgh to change some Chinese back to Sterling and this is what they gave me.
And now down in England some shops are reluctant to take my Scottish notes even though I pointed out that it is legal tender. Oxfam were particularly difficult. They wouldn’t believe me. It is, I suppose, hard to believe that a country could issue so many different notes and expect people to believe they are all legal tender.
