The class of 2011

For those of you who are interested inwhat I am doing down in Somerset I will give you the low-down on today’s trip to the National Trust gardens at Stourhead. I’m not sure where Stourhead is but it took 40 minutes or thereabouts to get there. My class were really hacked off because they wanted to go to Wells with the others to go shopping. However, I have no power to change the plans for them so to Stourhead they went. During the journey many of the students fell asleep – it was warm on the bus.

On getting there the sun came out and it was beautifully warm. The gardens were fantastic and surrounded a lake. The first thing the (200+) students did was to queue for ice-creams. Quite a lot of them headed for the pub where they got coke and water and they all eventually ambled around the ground. By the time they had walked around the lake, lay in the sun and eaten ice-cream it was time to go home and a surprising numnber of the students were not longer fed up about missing the shops.

I took photos of some my class for you. Here they are for your delictation.
