I went in search of Mrs Avocado on Ulumuqi Road in Shanghai. Apparently this is a small fruit and veg shop which is famous amongts ex-pats for stocking all sorts of foreign food like Nutella and avocados (obviously). 
Each week she sells whatever she can get her hands on so you never really know what’s going to be there.
I went looking for it – Ulumuqi road in the French Concession. I walked up and down but still couldn’t find it. However, on the way back I walked over the Yan’an elevated road back out of the French Concession and saw this beggar and the view of Jing’an Temple amongst the sparkling new skyscrapers. The old and new, rich and poor side by side.
